4. Inspection and Estimate Requests

Submitting a website form, calling our office, or requesting a free inspection does not create a contractor-client relationship, require C&D to accept a project, or obligate either party to enter into a construction agreement.

Any preliminary information provided through the website or during an initial conversation is subject to verification. Final pricing, project scope, materials, scheduling, payment terms, and other project requirements will be stated in a separate written proposal or agreement.

Unless specifically stated in writing, website requests are not guaranteed appointments. An inspection or service time is confirmed only after it has been accepted and scheduled by C&D.

5. Construction and Service Agreements

All roofing, exterior, remodeling, repair, emergency, and related construction services are governed by a separate written contract, work authorization, or service agreement. If these website terms conflict with a signed project agreement, the signed project agreement controls with respect to that project.

A project’s price and completion schedule may be affected by concealed damage, structural conditions, code requirements, material availability, weather, permitting, approved change orders, and other circumstances identified in the applicable agreement.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the written scope, material selections, payment schedule, and warranty terms before authorizing work.

6. Storm Damage and Insurance Claims

C&D may inspect storm-related damage, document visible conditions, meet with adjusters when authorized, prepare construction estimates, and communicate about the scope of repair. We do not act as a public adjuster, attorney, or insurance company.

We do not guarantee that an insurer will approve, pay, supplement, or fully cover any claim. Coverage decisions, claim valuations, deductibles, depreciation, exclusions, and payment timing are controlled by the policy and the insurance carrier.

Property owners remain responsible for reviewing their policies, meeting claim deadlines, communicating with their insurers, and paying all amounts due under their construction agreements, including deductibles and non-covered work.

7. Workmanship and Manufacturer Warranties

Any workmanship warranty offered by C&D applies only when it is included in the customer’s written project documents and all applicable conditions have been satisfied.

Manufacturer warranties are issued and administered by the applicable manufacturer. Their coverage, registration requirements, limitations, exclusions, and claim procedures are governed by the manufacturer’s own terms.

Nothing on this website creates or expands a warranty. Complete warranty terms will be provided with the applicable project documents.

8. Intellectual Property

The website’s text, branding, logos, graphics, layout, photographs, videos, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to C&D General Contractors, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

C&D provides services in Missouri and Kansas. Website-related disputes will be governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Matters involving a specific construction project will be governed by the law, jurisdiction, venue, and dispute provisions contained in the applicable signed agreement and by the law of the state where the property is located.

If no signed agreement controls the dispute, any legal action must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction connected to C&D’s principal Missouri business location, unless applicable law requires a different jurisdiction or venue.
